LOL

Like you, I love living in the desert. I'm not yet ready to give it up. But you're right about the island paradise! (And I had no idea Alexis lived there. I love living in the desert, but sometimes, one needs a little visit to an island paradise. Glad we could spark some good memories for you!
MarieMariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18328966473242925851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5083633325209012024.post-69372562355598505462012-02-20T08:23:26.475-05:002012-02-20T08:23:26.475-05:00Well, lucky me! I saw this post in the sidebar so I didn't have to go search for it. ;)

As I said in your later post, I've been to St. Croix and it *is* beautiful!

The video clips don't work on my computer, but thanks again for the photos and the revived memories.Barbara White Daillehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07493545252673453037noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5083633325209012024.post-61418812449639953502012-02-01T20:15:33.988-05:002012-02-01T20:15:33.988-05:00I haven't vacationed much since becoming an ad...I haven't vacationed much since becoming an adult many, many years ago. My last vacation before visiting Alexis & her husband (who, by the way, are fabulous hosts!) was in 2006 but as a kid, I traveled up and down the east coast. Favorite places? Williamsburg & Gettysburg although I did enjoy Washington, D.C. too. The Smithsonian? Loved it!!!! Each place I went had its own particular charm but it was the places filled with history that made the most profound impressions on me.

Hope you get to add a few more favorites to your list.

MarieMariehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18328966473242925851noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5083633325209012024.post-17804731530741161372012-02-01T09:58:41.926-05:002012-02-01T09:58:41.926-05:00I'm so envious that you were able to visit Ale...I'm so envious that you were able to visit Alexis and have a fabulous trip all in one!
My favorite places to visit in books are England, Russia, and the East coast.
As far as "real" visits, I've been to about half the states along with Spain. I think Alaska, Spain, and Washington DC were my favorites although I definitely want to get a few more on the favorites list!Dawn Kundahttp://www.dawnkunda.comnoreply@blogger.com
