I truly enjoyed those characters and Regency is such an intriguing time in history!Jessica Nelsonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12365768876905444157noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5083633325209012024.post-49033555210389551392015-09-30T13:14:38.408-04:002015-09-30T13:14:38.408-04:00Jessica -- I read "The Matchmaker Match"...Jessica -- I read "The Matchmaker Match" and enjoyed much about it. Forgive me for perhaps missing something but how could Amelia get from Yorkshire to look at a cottage back to near London in one day? As a reader, I don't want to be "stopped" as I read by something I don't understand. This is Regency. Would not the ladies be wearing bonnets rather than hats, soft hanging fabrics falling from beneath their breasts? Not stiff material? The story is good. The characters are good. But details like those I mentioned took me out of the story. Unless I have overlooked something, I am surprised Harlequin did not catch these things. Sincerely, Julia Blaine (who really did like your story.)Julia Blainehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16582819675491429924noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5083633325209012024.post-48479521321528204252015-09-25T06:19:43.711-04:002015-09-25T06:19:43.711-04:00That would be awesome, Lyndee! I saw it at my local grocery and I will post it on your FB page. My favorite snacks are salty - chips, cheetos, popcorn. I've never been a big candy lover. I leave that for my sweet tooth hubby!
