Lexi Post Calendars are Here!

 2016 Lexi Post Books Calendars

Yay! My Lexi Post Books calendars are in!
I'm so excited!
They came out great!

Each month has a cover of one of my books with a short comment about the book. The calendar cover picture is a painting my sister did for me that speaks to what I write. She's pretty talented in my humble opinion.

If someone would really like one I will sell these for $10 plus $2 shipping, but I'm also going to give away one to a lucky person who comments below :-)

I don't know about you, but I use 4 different calendars just in my office for all different things. Yes, I've already hung up one of mine because, well, I just love looking at the handsome hunks on my covers. What can I say? I searched far and wide to get just the right model for each character ;-)

So in the comments, tell me how many calendars you use on a daily basis. I'll have random .org choose a winner on Monday, January 18th.  Good luck!

Always, Lexi

Tagline Help and Giveaway

www.lexipostbooks.com

I need help (no kidding). But as opposed to the psychological kind that may have jumped to mind, I want a different kind of help. After all, they say two heads are better than one, so I’m thinking about twenty should do it for this project ;-)

I’m working on a tagline for my erotic romances that are inspired by classic literature. Some readers see the word “classic” and run the other way, (seriously they do, I have witnessed it), so I’m thinking I need something different.

In the past year I’ve heard two other phrases to describe my books that caught my attention, so I was hoping you could tell me if you like one of these or if you have a better idea. I’m am completely open to suggestions. I want something that will attract readers, not make them run away :-)

Here are three phrases that have been used regarding my writing:
1) Erotic Romance Inspired by the Classics   (From me originally)
2) Erotic Romance with a Whole Lotta Story  (From an industry professional)
3) Erotic Romance for the Intelligent Reader  (From a fan)

So what do you think? Do you like one of these?  Do you have another idea? Come on, this could be fun :-)

Everyone who gives me feedback will be entered for a chance to win an Ellora’s Caveman Calendar.  Why not? There are still over 10 months left in 2014 :-}

Lexi on Muscles and an Ellora's Cave Calendar Giveaway

Let's Talk Muscles

What is it about a muscular hero in a romance novel? For women, there is just something about the image in one’s mind or on the cover of well-developed biceps, pectorals or abdominal muscles.  Yes, sometimes we are treated to a well-defined back or thigh, but the upper torso rules the day.

It does make sense that women would be so attracted to the well-developed physique. After all, men are often attracted to a well-endowed chest, a bit of booty, or even legs that appear to go on forever. All cliché, true, but cliché because it is a typical interest.

So what is it that gets your blood pounding? Is it the chest, the abs, the arms? What about the ass, the thighs or rock hard calves? Men used to be asked if they were a breast man or a leg man (no, we aren’t talking chicken here), so I ask you, what type of woman are you when it comes to a physical trait. I’m looking for shallow answers here.

One lucky person will win the 2014 Ellora’s Cave calendar. Yes, it’s one of those calendars that you can’t put up at work ;-) Do tell. What part of the male body are you hopelessly addicted to?

Always, Lexi
