I’m Jillian Chantal and I want to thank Alexis for inviting me over to chat a little bit today. I’m kind of an eclectic writer in that I write whatever speaks to me at the moment. I have some super sensual stories and some that are sweet (in that there is no open-door sex but not sweet in tone since my characters all tend to have a bit of sarcasm and wit).
The two
stories I’m going to talk about today are very different from each other in a
couple of ways but are alike in the basics of having hot heroes who treat women
as they should be treated :-) They are both sweet romances.
I wrote The Size of the Scandal during my lunch
hours at work and wrote it longhand in a notebook. The reason I did this was it
helped me keep the characters true to themselves as I was also working on a
contemporary story at the same time. Using the computer for the contemporary
and pen and ink for the historical exercised a different part of my brain (a totally
unscientific opinion) and it worked to keep me on track- and more importantly,
my characters happy.

The heroine
in this one is sassy and fun. She’s a bit of a wild card and her father wants
to marry her off before she unwittingly causes a scandal. Charlotte is always
getting herself into situations where she could be shunned for life by the haut
ton and this Christmas season is no different.
I also have a
new release from Sweet Cravings Publishing that came out yesterday called Thanks
for Giving. It’s a Thanksgiving story where the heroine is asked to
consider being tested as a bone marrow donor. I am on the donor list myself and
the cause is near and dear to my heart. I’ve used this as a starting point for
