Her vantage point gave her the perfect view. The area was small and comfortable, but the stranger dominated it simply by his presence.

His hood was down, displaying a thick crop of black silky hair. Even though it was cut short, there was still a hint of a wave in it. His sunshades were tucked into the neck of his shirt, allowing her to get her first good look at every inch of his face. And what a face it was. Strong was the word that came to mind. His chin was square, cheekbones heavy slashes, forehead high and wide. It gave him an almost austere appearance, as though life had honed him to a very sharp edge.

Sitting cross-legged on one of the oversize pillows the locals used as seats, he appeared quite at home. The pottery teacup looked tiny and fragile in his big hand. Though at rest, he reminded her of a wild cat, every muscle coiled and ready to spring at any given moment.

He wasn’t handsome, in the traditional sense, but he was compelling. Wild and strong and dangerous.

Unexpected Eden by Lexi Post

What is better than an erotic romance taking place in a jungle on the planet Eden?  Or should I say romances as Serena and best friend Toni find themselves whisked away to the planet Eden by three gorgeous, stark naked men.  Serena was taken earlier than planned, but an incident in her life made it necessary.

Sandale, Jahl, and Khaos have planned for years to take their beloved, Serena, to their planet and woo her into bonding with them.Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000030_00038]

Not all goes as planned.  Sandale is thought missing and dead after the girls’ arrival, which leaves Jahl and Khaos to figure out how to convince Serena to stay on Eden forever and also what to do with her friend who arrived by association.

Jahl and Khaos have problems of their own that they don’t realize and until they correct themselves, there’s no way Serena can love them fully.  Granted, sexual satisfaction is better than she could have imagined or dreamed.

Serena also has ties on Earth and it’s hard for her to consider cutting out her former life.

I wish I could’ve been with Serena as she lived in the trees, swung vines with naked men, and had all the loving she could ask for.  I’d have to bring my husband along, but on Eden that would be expected!

Just imagine a hot and steamy jungle with naked men who only want to please you…a definite read to bring you into the summer months.

Happy reading,

Dawn

Interview with Tina Christopher and a Giveaway

Alexis: Today we have Sexy Steampunk and Sensuous Sci-Fi author, Tina Christopher who is giving away a copy of Rescue by Ruin to one lucky commenter.

What are you working on now?

Tina: I have just finished the sequel to Rescue by Ruin, my sexy steampunk novel, and hope to share that with my readers soon.

My next project is Tangled Redemption, the fourth and final book in the Celestial Surrender series that began with Tangled Shadows. Throughout the first three books a certain Vampire, and his affiliations, has worried my heroes. Is Miguel Calatrave, the Spaniard, still on their side or has he started to work with the bloodthirsty Feral Vampires, who are now trafficking humans as blood slaves? This is a question Miguel himself is unsure of the answer. It will take one very unusual Naema and another Vampire for him to discover if he is really beyond all redemption.

Alexis: Why did you choose this sub-genre of romance?

Tina: Lol, because I like to make s*** up! I love steampunk because it gives me the option of taking history and mixing in modern technology, of taking certain values and morals and turning them on their head. I love sci-fi because it gives me the opportunity to travel to distant planets and imagine whole worlds and their inhabitants.

Alexis: Where did you get the idea for this story?

Tina: Originally Miguel was planned as the villain, as the one behind the evil plans of smuggling humans as blood slaves. Then he walked onto the page and complained bitterly. The more time he spent with me, the more I understood I had it all wrong. Everything Miguel has done, he has done to save his species and the galaxy. Now it is my turn to tell his story and share it with the world.

Alexis: I love that twist! What was the first romance you ever read?

Tina: Secret Fire by Johanna Lindsey
It opened up a whole new world for me. I was hooked on romance;).

Alexis: I loved Johanna Lindsey as well, especially her Malory series. What has been the best piece of advice you ever received for your writing career?

Tina:  When I was introduced to GMC-Goal,Motivation, Conflict by Debra Dixon. It is an amazing book and as a concept has been with me for every single story I have written. I will come up with a concept, a character, a situation and the first thing I do is outline the internal and external goal, motivation and conflict for heroine, hero and villain. Everything else comes from that.

Alexis: Thank you, Tina, for being with us on Happily Ever After Thoughts.

About Tina
Tina Christopher spent her early years flitting across the Channel between Germany and England. After touring the world extensively, she finally laid down roots in Toronto. And while Canada’s winters may be frigid, Tina’s characters are anything but!

Like most writers, Tina often hears voices in her head, but it took the encouragement of an editor friend before she actually put fingers to keyboard. While those first stories will never see the light of day, she’s subsequently honed her craft and learned to build not just worlds, but entire galaxies. Her first book from Ellora’s Cave features a galaxy filled with Vampires, Humans and angel-like aliens called Naema.

When not imagining far away worlds and scorching hot encounters, Tina can be found on her sofa working through her never-ending TBR pile or venturing into the real world—whether to a nearby café or a passport-required destination. She’s a member of the RWA’s Toronto chapter. Her two degrees in environmental conservation, majoring in large animal studies, come in handy when wrestling with supernatural beasties.
