Hello, gentle readers!
Have you ever met someone who radiates such joy,
it’s there in their eyes, which just sparkle and twinkle and somehow, hold
laughter? Who have so much love in their hearts, you can hear it in the
sweetness of their voices? Who have so much compassion for their fellow human
beings, you can’t help but feel it in their lightest touch? Who exude kindness
with just a smile?
I have a dear friend who is 92 years young and she…has
such joy. You just can’t help being drawn to her with the hope that some of
that will rub off (and it does).
And it’s not just her. She has given this
magnificent gift to her children and they are all like she is…joyful, loving,
compassionate. Kind. She, and her family, make me want to be a better person
just being with them.
Actually, there are quite a few people in my life
who are like my friend, who are kind just because it’s their nature, who love
with all their hearts and souls, who accept others for who and what they are,
who see the sunshine beyond the dark, stormy clouds…
…and I am so blessed! Grateful, too!
