Do you read the blogs of your favorite authors? I do. I find what they have to say interesting, whether they’re talking about their current works in progress or other authors they enjoy or about their lives.
I never thought I would write blogs myself so when the mistress of Happily Ever After Thoughts asked if I would be a contributor, I had to think about it (although I didn’t think about it for very long before jumping at the chance).
I never thought I’d enjoy writing them either, but I do. Truthfully, I didn’t think I’d have the time between working full time (at a very stressful job), writing my own romances and reading all my favorite authors, but I find that I do enjoy it and I hope you do too.
On that note, if you have any suggestions on topics you’d like to see, please send them along. I’m always open for new ideas and new subjects (and frankly, sometimes my brain freezes when I look at that blank page).
As always, happy reading!
I think blogging is a fun thing to do and when regular contributors comment, it's almost like making another family!ReplyDelete
I recently read an agents monthly newsletter which stated she agrees it's a good thing to network online, yet she thinks the networking is getting flooded. Does this opinion surprise you?
Yes, it does surprise me, but not as much as I would have thought. I can see her point, however, I don't think it's a bad thing. There's quality work out there and I think as long as there is a demand, the network will continue to grow.ReplyDelete
As for you other comment, it is fun to meet people from all over and become friends! I love that!
I agree with you!ReplyDelete
I like blogs about reading. I can't resist when someone asks what I'm reading, or what was the latest book I read, or what was my favorite book last year, or any of those questions. I guess I just can't wait to tell people about my favorite authors and books. I mean really, if I get so much joy from them, why not tell others? :-)ReplyDelete
I can't resist either, Alexis! I, too, get so much enjoyment out of reading, I like to share the wealth as if were. Better be prepared though, because I can go on for hours about my favorite authors and their novels!ReplyDelete
