Pre-order Pleasures of Christmas Past and enter to win a Venetian Mask!

Whoohoo! My latest manuscript has been turned in! I had so much fun with Duncan Montgomerie, the hot Scotsman from the early 1800s and Jessica Thomas, the dedicated American social worker who is serving as the Spirit of Christmas Past to Holly Douglas.

This book is available for pre-order for $2.99.

This month has had me steeped in paranormal romances. First Masque re-released on October 1st (link) and then Passion's Poison re-released on October 15th (link) and now Pleasures of Christmas Past has been completed and is up for pre-order.

Of course, that means I'm on the look out for another classic piece of literature to be inspired by for another paranormal book. I think a series would be good this time, but I need to find the right story. Any suggestions? If you have any, please leave them in a comment and be sure to preform the other Rafflecopter tasks for a chance to win this hand decorated Venetian mask made in Italy. This is 1 of only 2 more I'll be giving away this month, so be sure to enter.  Good luck!

Always, Lexi

  1. Lexi, you know what I'm rooting for! I would love to see a PN twist on Romeo and Juliet with a happy ending for once! If anyone can do it, it's you and it would be fantastic! I'm super excited for Pleasure of Christmas Past. A Christmas Carol is another one of my all time favorites and I can't wait to read it with a "Lexi Twist" on it. :)

    1. Ashley I had totally forgotten that you had suggested that a while back. Uh-oh, now you've got my creative juices flowing! That story has excellent possibilities. Thank you for the reminder :-)

    1. Ugh, that is such a depressing story. I would probably have to use MacDuff as the hero :-} Those Macbeths are nuts ;-)

  3. Hmm. I think the Merchant of Venice might be a good one to adapt your brand of writing to Lexi.

    1. Oh, good one Darlene. I bet there is a lot of fodder to use in that one. I have to re-read it. It's been a lot of years since I read it. I love re-reading classics as I get such great inspiration from them :-)

    1. Hmm, could that be because the above book is inspired by that story? ;-)

    1. I really like Emma by Jane Austin, but I have a niece by that name, so I would have a difficult time writing an erotic romance unless I changed the name :-}
