Reader Interview: Katherine

Today I’m interviewing my reader Katherine Horvath who is from Maryland. She could be my younger sister!

Lexi: How did you get into reading romance novels?

Katherine: I was a slow reader when I was younger but I picked up a romance book at 11 years old and haven’t stopped.

Lexi: Wow, you started early :-) Tell me about your pet.

Katherine: Her name is Peaches she will be 13 years old this year. She was my parents cat and she was feral when they took the momma cat in with her babies. She is a Diva.

Lexi: Aw, I like your parents. What are you good at?

Katherine: I am good at training people to do the job. Love cooking

Lexi: Ack! Cooking and I don't get along. If you could name a character in a romance novel, what would you name him or her? Why?

Katherine: Joshua because it is such a sexy name for a man.

Lexi: What makes you happy?

Katherine: Being able to come home to Peaches and getting in my new Rav4 that I had to get at Christmas.

Lexi: Oh, a Merry Christmas to me present. Love that! Tell me about your significant other.

Katherine: His name is John and he is a very caring person. We have been long time friends for 13 years. No chance at getting married which is fine.

Lexi: The caring part is the most important part. What’s your favorite dessert?

Katherine: Cheesecake

Lexi: What types of romances do you like to read?

Katherine: LGBT, Contemporary, Erotic,

Lexi: What are you proud of?

Katherine: I am proud of myself for trying to get myself out of debt.

Lexi: Oh, that's hard. What’s your average day look like?

Katherine: Wednesday-Saturday work 830-6 Sunday 730-6 off on Mondays and Tuesdays. I am a Demo Supervisor inside a Bj’s Wholesale Club.

Lexi: What’s your perfect day look like?

Katherine: Just being able to relax and read.

Lexi: How many hours a week do you spend reading romance?

Katherine: 35 hrs

Lexi: Now I'm jealous! Who made the biggest impact on your life?

Katherine: My Mom

Lexi: If you could go on an all expense paid vacation anywhere in the world, where would you go? Why?

Katherine: Australia I have always been fascinated with the culture.

Lexi: Me too. How many books do have in your “To Be Read” pile (means you’ve bought them but still need to read)?

Katherine: 250

Lexi: If you could give someone what they wanted most, what and who would it be? 

Katherine: Tammy who is my Lead at work. A place of her own to live.

Lexi: Oh, that is so sweet! How many romance authors are on your auto-buy list?

Katherine: 25

 

Lexi: What kind of car do you drive? If you had your choice, would it be that one or a different one?  

Katherine: Rav4 2011. 1964 1/2 Mustang candy apple red is my dream car

Lexi: How many children, grandchildren, great grandchildren all total do you have?

Katherine: none

Lexi: Me too! What do you do for fun (besides reading romance novels)?

Katherine: Cooking

Lexi: Okay, you scared me away again. LOL. What did you think you’d be when you grew up?

Katherine: Flight Attendant

Lexi: What don’t most people on social media not know about you?

Katherine: That I was born in England and My Dad flew the whole family over to start a new life.

Lexi: Wow. What’s your favorite holiday? Why?

Katherine: Easter because I use to love Easter Egg Hunts

Lexi: Oh, those are fun! What mistake have you made that you learned the most from?

Katherine: Get in to debt when I was unemployed for a long period of time.

Lexi: Kind of hard not to when you're unemployed. What color eyes do you have?

Katherine: Hazel

Lexi: How old do you think is perfect for a hero?

Katherine: 40

Lexi: Do you collect anything? If so, what?

Katherine: Koala Bears

Lexi: Oh, now that's fun. What are you afraid of?

Katherine: Spiders

Lexi: What educational background do you have?

Katherine: High School Diploma and two years of college

Lexi: Do you dream at night? Do you remember your dreams?

Katherine: Yes

Lexi: What are some of your favorite movies?

Katherine: A League of Her Own, Sleepless in Seattle, When Harry Met Sally, White Christmas

Lexi: Those are all great ones. If there was one thing you wanted to tell me, but I didn’t ask, what would it be?

Katherine: I Love how you write your books.

Lexi: Oh, thank you! I’m so glad you enjoy them!
